Oscar de la Renta
Hearing the news this week of the passing of Oscar de la Renta, my mind wanders back to the ’90s when his signature fragrance was the only fragrance I ever wore.
This article is my small tribute to a man with a lifelong passion for dressing women beautifully. He certainly achieved his dream, his vision and his passion and we are all the better for it. Here is a man who understood the beauty of a woman. I cannot imagine a life (nor do I want to) without the happy memories Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Audrey Hepburn or Oscar de la Renta evoke for me.
A true icon of beautiful, gorgeous fashion design. Here are a few of my favourite shots.

With much respect, I wish this lovely man a restful slumber and eternal peace. His creativity will live on in his work and continue to inspire beauty the world over and if there’s one thing we need more of in this world it’s beauty.
A quote, summing him up beautifully.
Things never happen by accident, they happen because you have a vision, you have a commitment, you have a dream..
…Oscar de la Renta.
